The fair will take place from September 7 to 9 at Fiera Milano (Rho) in Milan, Italy
With a record number of brands, Brazilian footwear will be present next month at the 100th edition of one of the world’s leading trade shows in the sector. MICAM Milano, celebrating its centennial edition, will feature 79 Brazilian brands at the event, which will take place from September 7 to 9 at Fiera Milano (Rho) in Milan, Italy. The participation of the Brazilian footwear industry is made possible by Brazilian Footwear, an export-promotion program maintained by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
Traditionally, Brazil is the third-largest international delegation at the trade show, which brings together more than one thousand exhibiting brands and welcomes buyers from 150 countries. According to Paola Pontin, Business Coordinator at the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados), the event holds strategic importance for Brazilian companies. “Brazilian Footwear has supported the country’s participation since 2007, and over these 18 years, MICAM Milano has been essential in expanding the presence of Brazilian-made footwear abroad, opening new markets, and strengthening international clients. It is an opportunity for us to showcase the features and unique qualities of the world’s fourth-largest footwear-producing industry—and the largest in the West.”

The traditional runway shows organized by the trade show will once again feature Brazilian participation. And in this 100th edition of MICAM, it will also set a record.
