Sixty-seven brazilian brands in the largest footwear fair in the world

The Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados) will take 67 brands to participate in the largest footwear fair in the world, Micam Milano. The action is conducted through the Brazilian Footwear, footwear exports promotion program developed in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The 87th edition of the trade show will present fall-winter collections with over 1.3 thousand exhibitors from 30 countries from February 10 to 13, in Milan/Italy.

The traditional trade show is one of the most profitable for Brazilian footwear manufacturers. In last year's fair, over US$ 7.6 million were generated with the participation. "Micam Milano is one of the most important footwear fairs in the world. After the year of international participation began with good results at Expo Riva, also in Italy, we have great expectations for the fair in Milan. The right product, combined with the good moment for Brazilian exports, tends to yield good results," says the analyst of Abicalçados' Trade Promotion Unit, Paola Pontin.

Receiving over 40 thousand visitors during each edition, most of them from Europe, Micam Milano is regarded as the most internationalized fair in the footwear industry. Eyeing this market, the Brazilian brands Jorge Bischoff, Loucos &Santos, Raphaella Booz, Smidt, Luz da Lua, Dumond, Capodarte, Guilhermina, GVD International, Ferracini 24h, Pegada, Democrata, Ferricelli, Radamés, Sollu, Shoeterapy, Savelli, Opananken Antitensor, Cravo & Canela, West Coast, Bibi, Contramão, Klin, Ortopé, Piccadilly, Invoice, Andacco, Vizzano, Beira Rio Conforto, Moleca, Molekinha, Modare Ultraconforto, Molekinho, Madeira Brasil, Verofatto, Cecconello, Itapuã, New Face Original, Stéphanie Classic, Ramarim, Comfortflex, Whoop, Capelli Rossi, Indiana Colors of Brazil, Tabita, Wirth, Carrano, Suzana Santos, Renata Mello, Ala, Zatz, Cristófoli, Divalesi, Werner, Killana, Usaflex, Kildare, Anatomic & Co, Moema, Rider, Ipanema, Grendha, Zaxy, Cartago, Boaonda, Cherry, and Petite Jolie participate in the trade show.

In addition to the trading platform, fashion shows of the exhibiting brands take place during the trade show, on February 10 and 12. The Brazilian brands Jorge Bischoff, Radamés, Contramão, Madeira Brasil, Cecconello, Werner, and Rider will participate in them.
