Expo Riva Schuh creates good expectations. It is one of the most traditional footwear fairs in the world and takes place in the Italian city Riva Del Garda, from June 15 to 18. Overall, 45 Brazilian footwear brands will participate in the event with the support of Abicalçados.
Abicalçados' Trade Promotion analyst, Ruísa Scheffel, highlights that the expectations are positive, considering that the fair represents the beginning of the international calendar for sales of spring-summer collections, the most profitable for Brazilian brands abroad. "The number of exhibitors is the same, demonstrating that the brands are committed to exports as a strategy," Scheffel celebrates.
Last year, the trade show generated USD 8.4 million in immediate deals, a figure that will likely be similar or even greater at this year's trade show, because the appreciation of the dollar against the reals made the prices of Brazilian shoes more competitive. Another factor that gives Brazilian manufacturers grounds for optimism is the apparent recovery of exports last month, when shipments were 20% higher than the ones in the previous month, reaching over 7.6 million pairs. "Expo Riva Schuh has the characteristic of being a fair with a large volume of sales, with visitors from the main buyer markets in the planet," Scheffel concludes.
The brands Klin, Werner, Andacco, Carrano, Madeira Brasil, Verofatto, Piccadilly, Pegada, Vizzano, Beira Rio Conforto, Moleca, Molekinha, Molekinho, Modare Ultraconforto, Usaflex, Tabita, Pampili, Cravo & Canela, Jorge Bischoff, Loucos & Santos, Ramarim, Comfortflex, Whoop, Stéphanie Classic, Cristófoli, Suzana Santos, Renata Mello, Shoetherapy, Democrata, Petite Jolie, Sollu, Pimpolho, Indiana Colours of Brazil, Grendha, Grendene Kids, Copacabana, Cartago, Capelli Rossi, Capodarte, Dumond, ADG Export, Adrun, GVD International, Arezzo, and Awana participate in Expo Riva Schuh.
